My New Beauty

As you know I live in a tiny place which does not allow for a lot of collections.  There are a few items I make room for.  One of them is enamelware body pitchers.  This is the latest one I have found.  Isn't it lovely?

I love the fact that I genuinely buy them with the intention of putting them in my Etsy store.

And somehow, through some force beyond me....they never show up there........

In my defense...could you part with this?

It was purchased 18 years ago at a flea market in Paris and brought back to CA.

I know.  This all means that I most likely have a problem.  But at least I can admit it, right? :)

Have a great day!

  1. Lovely! I could never part with it either. Looks so beautiful with flowers!

  2. Oh no do not sell it as it memories of Paris, I love enamel jugs too as the kids cant break them!

  5. I would not sell them, Michele. They are so pretty!!!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. Well that's a good problem to have. Loving something so much that you don't want to part with it is better than having something you don't like and noone else does either! Ha! I love those pitchers. I once had an old white one years ago and sold it. I regret it now. So....keep it! I'm sure that blue and white design one is very hard to find.

  7. Can't blame you one bit, Michele!!!

    Those are gorgeous!

  8. I could never part with that Michele, it is gorgeous!! Wishing you a lovely weekend! Xo ~Ashley

  9. If the thought of selling the Parisian picture ever arises, just tell yourself your readers forbid you to let it go! ~ Maureen

  11. lol! From one "French body pitcher addict" to another.....I TOTALLY understand, Michele! lolol! I started collecting them and can't stop, either. Let's not go in to my collection of grain sacks, candelabras, topiary, and linens....ok....? hehehe!

Your pitchers are just gorgeous. Way too pretty to let them go!

    xoxo laurie
